Agricultural Bank of China nominates Wang Peishi as independent director

The Board of Directors of Agricultural Bank of China convened on May 30, 2025, and approved the nomination of Wang Peishi as a candidate for independent director. The board's nomination and remuneration committee confirmed Wang Peishi's qualifications under PRC law, stock exchange regulations, and the company's charter. The nomination was unanimously approved by the board with 14 votes in favor. Wang Peishi's appointment is subject to approval at the upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders and subsequent approval from the National Financial Regulatory Administration. Her term will be three years, starting from the date of approval by the National Financial Regulatory Administration. The bank's 2024 Annual General Meeting will be held in Beijing on June 27, 2025.
