China Unicom red chip shareholder meeting resolutions passed

China United Network Communications (SSE:600050) announced the voting results of the shareholder's annual general meeting held on May 29, 2025, of its indirectly held subsidiary, China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited, referred to as "Unicom Red Chip Company". The resolutions passed at the meeting include: approval of Unicom Red Chip Company’s 2024 year-end profit distribution; the re-election of directors and authorization of the board to determine director remuneration; and the authorization for directors to repurchase up to 10% of Unicom Red Chip Company's issued shares. Furthermore, approval was given to issue, allot and dispose of additional shares up to 20% of the total issued shares plus the number of shares repurchased (up to 10% of issued shares), subject to regulatory conditions. All resolutions were successfully passed at the meeting.
