Wintime Energy to cancel repurchased shares, reduce capital

Wintime Energy Group Co., Ltd. (SSE:600157) announced its plan to cancel repurchased shares, reducing the company's registered capital. The decision, approved at the annual shareholders meeting on May 28, 2025, involves shares initially earmarked for other purposes now being used for capital reduction. The company will cancel 307,028,695 to 497,868,389 shares. Based on a total share capital amount, this equals 1.38% to 2.24% of all of Wintime Energy's issued shares. Creditors have 45 days from the announcement date to assert their rights with valid documentation. The buyback price for the share was capped at CNY 2.62 per share. The buyback originally began on June 25, 2024 and will end on June 24, 2025. The total spend will be CNY 500,000,000 to CNY 1,000,000,000.
