Metallurgical Corporation of China proposes auditor change

Metallurgical Corporation of China announced its intention to appoint Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as its auditor for the 2025 fiscal year, replacing Ernst & Young Hua Ming. The proposed change is in accordance with regulations from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the company's auditor selection process. Ernst & Young Hua Ming has issued unqualified audit opinions for the company's financial reports and internal control assessments from 2022 to 2024 and has no objections to the change. In 2023, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu's total revenue reached CNY 4.1 billion, with audit revenue accounting for CNY 3.2 billion and securities business revenue at CNY 600 million; they audited 58 listed companies, with fees totaling CNY 260 million, including one company in the same industry. The appointment of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming general meeting.
