Power Construction's new contracts decline slightly in first four months

Power Construction Corporation of China today announced its primary operating results for the period from January to April 2025, revealing a total new contract value of CNY3864.90 billion, a 4.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. New energy power contracts decreased by 7.27% to CNY2285.33 billion, but wind power contracts increased significantly by 68.41% to CNY755.95 billion. Solar power contracts decreased by 34.53% to CNY745.43 billion and hydro power contracts increased by 14.07% to CNY386.33 billion. Water resources and environment contracts decreased by 17.23%. Domestic contracts amounted to CNY3031.68 billion, down 11.22%, while overseas contracts increased by 28.33% to CNY833.22 billion. The company highlighted several major signed projects, including a USD57.44 million wind power project in Laos and a USD48.83 million smart city project in Côte d'Ivoire.
