Yili adjusts 2024 cash dividend payout after share buyback

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (SSE:600887) announced an adjustment to its proposed 2024 cash dividend distribution after completing a share buyback. Following the buyback and subsequent cancellation of 40,540,038 shares, the company's total share capital has decreased to 6,325,360,667 shares. While the dividend per share remains unchanged at CNY 1.22 (inclusive of tax), the total proposed cash dividend will be adjusted to CNY 7,716,940,013.74. This represents 91.29% of the net profit attributable to the parent company shareholders for 2024. The adjustment aims to maintain the initial per-share dividend rate, with the dividend distribution based on the share capital on the equity registration date.
