Shanghai Petrochemical executes share repurchase program

Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited (SSE:600688) announced today that it repurchased 880,000 of its H-shares on The Stock Exchange, representing 0.027% of existing shares, with a total expenditure of HKD 1,073,600. The shares were repurchased at approximately HKD 1.22 per share. The company stated that the repurchases were made in accordance with exchange rules and that there had been no material changes to the particulars from the explanatory statement dated April 26, 2024.
