Inner Mongolia Yitai shareholder increases stake by 2%

Inner Mongolia Yitai Coal (SSE:900948) announced that its controlling shareholder, Inner Mongolia Yitai Group, and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yitai (Group) Hong Kong, have increased their holdings in the company. From March 26, 2025, to May 16, 2025, Yitai Hong Kong acquired an additional 7,975,965 shares through the Shanghai Stock Exchange trading system, representing 0.27% of the company's total share capital. Combined with previous acquisitions made between July 30, 2024, and March 25, 2025, the total increase amounts to 2% of the company's total share capital. The increase is part of a previously announced acquisition plan. Following the transaction, Inner Mongolia Yitai Group and Yitai (Group) Hong Kong will collectively hold 69.27% of the company's shares. The company has stated that the increase will not lead to a change in control of the company.
