Xiamen airport reports growth in April transportation production

Xiamen International Airport (SSE:600897) announced its transportation production figures for April 2025, revealing growth across key metrics. Aircraft movements totaled 16,437, a 4.99% year-over-year increase. Passenger throughput reached 238,810,000, a 7.73% rise compared to the same period last year. Cargo volume also saw positive growth, with 3,150 tonnes handled, marking a 2.99% increase. Domestic routes saw 13,663 aircraft movements and handled 202,670,000 passengers. International routes saw aircraft movements of 2,092 and handled 29,520,000 passengers. Regional routes saw 504 aircraft movements and handled 6,630,000 passengers. The company noted that discrepancies in totals may occur due to rounding and the inclusion of non-commercial flights.
