Baiyun Airport announces strong traffic growth in April 2025

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (SSE:600004) announced its April 2025 production and operation data, showcasing substantial growth. Total aircraft takeoffs and landings reached 44,371, a 25.18% increase compared to April 2024. Passenger throughput surged to 6,663,566, reflecting a 26.31% year-over-year rise. Cargo and mail throughput also increased to 198,789.21 tons, a 6.80% increase from the previous year. Year-to-date figures also show positive trends, with total takeoffs and landings at 176,439, passenger throughput at 26,722,353 and cargo throughput at 758,833.22 tons.
