Huatai Securities' subsidiary issues CNY 3.53bn in notes

Huatai Securities (SSE:601688) announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Huatai International Finance, will issue medium-term notes valued at approximately CNY 3.53 billion (based on a HKD/CNY exchange rate of 0.9281 as of April 30, 2025). The issuance is part of a USD 3 billion medium-term note program established in October 2020. These notes are guaranteed by Huatai International, another wholly-owned subsidiary. The current issuance totals HKD 380 million. After this, Huatai International’s guarantee for Huatai International Finance will amount to USD 0.99 million (including this issuance).
