Shaanxi coal production slightly down, sales up in April 2025

Shaanxi Coal Industry Company (SSE:601225) announced its key operating data for April 2025, revealing a mixed performance compared to April 2024. Coal production volume reached 1,424.23 kilotonnes, a decrease of 1.78% year-over-year. However, accumulated coal production from January to April 2025 increased by 3.98% to 5,818.00 kilotonnes. Self-produced coal sales volume saw a slight increase of 0.76% to 1,310.33 kilotonnes for April, with cumulative sales rising by 4.51% to 5,265.00 kilotonnes. Electricity generation decreased by 13.58% to 22.69 million kWh in April, and electricity sales volume declined by 12.43% to 21.21 million kWh, with accumulated power generation and sales decreasing by 20.86%.
