Juneyao Airlines repurchases 1% of total shares

Shanghai Juneyao Airlines (SSE:603885) announced that it has repurchased 1.20% of its total share capital through centralized bidding transactions as of April 30, 2025. The company has bought back 26,441,986 shares, with transaction prices ranging from CNY 11.93 to CNY 13.46 per share, spending a total of CNY 336,647,883.53 excluding transaction fees. The repurchase program, approved in January 2025, targets a total spend between CNY 250 million and CNY 500 million. Originally intended for employee stock ownership plans or equity incentives, 15 million of the repurchased shares will now be cancelled to reduce registered capital, pending shareholder approval. The company will continue to execute the repurchase plan based on market conditions, providing updates as required.
