WuXi AppTec adjusts dividends, progresses with share buyback

WuXi AppTec (SSE:603259) has announced adjustments to its proposed 2024 profit distribution and 2025 special dividend payouts to shareholders. These changes are a direct result of the company's recent share repurchase program, where it bought back 2,855,916 A-shares. These repurchased shares do not qualify for dividend distribution, thus altering the total share capital entitled to dividends. Consequently, WuXi AppTec is adjusting the total dividend amounts to maintain the planned per-share dividend. The 2024 cash dividend is adjusted to CNY 2,832,309,813.65 and the 2025 special dividend to CNY 1,009,797,833.10.
