Sichuan Changhong issues updates on 2025 guarantees

Sichuan Changhong Electric (SSE:600839) has announced it has provided guarantees to its subsidiaries, Hong Kong Changhong Trading Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Changhong Smart Health Technology Co., Ltd. This month, Sichuan Changhong provided a guarantee of USD 5.5 million to its subsidiary Hong Kong Changhong. The company also provided a CNY 10 million guarantee to Smart Health. The total guarantee amount for Hong Kong Changhong is now CNY 456,893.39 thousand and for Smart Health is CNY 10 million. As of the announcement, the company’s total external guarantees exceed 50% of its latest audited net assets, triggering investor caution, with total guarantees valued at CNY 1,243,243.77 thousand.
