China Duty Free proposes CNY 2,172.3m dividend payout

China Tourism Group Duty Free Co., Ltd. (SSE:601888) announced its plans for the 2024 Annual General Meeting, detailing key financial results and proposals. Despite a 16.38% year-over-year decrease in revenue to CNY 56.47 Billion and a 36.44% drop in net profit attributable to shareholders to CNY 4.27 Billion, the company proposed a cash dividend of CNY 10.5 (inclusive of tax) per 10 shares. This equates to a total dividend payout of CNY 2.17 Billion, representing 50.91% of the net profit attributable to shareholders.
