Cosco Shipping Development repurchases shares on exchange

COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd. (02866.HK) announced a repurchase of 2,124,000 H-shares on the stock exchange on May 2, 2025. The shares were repurchased at a price between HKD 0.89 and HKD 0.9011 per share, with the total consideration paid amounting to HKD 1,913,980. The company confirms that the repurchase was conducted in compliance with exchange regulations and that there have been no material changes to the information outlined in the previously submitted explanatory circular dated June 7, 2024. As of May 2, 2025, the number of shares repurchased under the authorization totals 151,864,000. The company notes the purchased shares will be cancelled.
