Western mining subsidiary secures key mining license

Western Mining Co., Ltd. (SSE:601168) announced today that its holding subsidiary, Sichuan Xinyuan Mining Co., Ltd., has been granted a mining license by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources for the Youre Lead-Zinc Mine in Baiyu County, Sichuan Province. The license, valid from April 1, 2025, to April 1, 2037, permits the underground mining of zinc and lead at a rate of 600,000 tonnes per year, within an area of 0.7702 square kilometers.
