Sinopec executive director Yu Bao Cai resigns

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec, SSE:600028) announced the resignation of Executive Director and Senior Vice President, Yu Bao Cai, effective April 30, 2025. According to the company's statement, Yu Bao Cai's resignation, tendered due to age, was accepted by the board, and he will no longer hold any positions within Sinopec or its subsidiaries. His original term was set to expire in June 2027. Sinopec confirmed that Yu's departure will not reduce the board below the statutory minimum and acknowledged no disagreements or matters needing shareholder attention related to his resignation. The board expressed its gratitude for Yu's contributions during his tenure.
