Air China's Q1 revenue dips slightly, net loss widens

Air China (SSE:601111) reported a slight 0.11% year-over-year decrease in operating revenue, totaling CNY 40,023.324 million for the first quarter of 2025. The company's net loss attributable to shareholders widened to CNY -2,043.993 million, compared to a net loss of CNY -1,674.456 million in the same period last year. Excluding non-recurring gains and losses, the net loss attributable to shareholders was CNY -2,127.891 million versus CNY -1,713.176 million. Cash flow from operating activities decreased by 11.33%, to CNY 8,341.401 million. Basic and diluted earnings per share both stood at CNY -0.12. At the end of the quarter, total assets were CNY 345,163.318 million.
