China Pacific Insurance: New independent director approved

China Pacific Insurance Group (the "Company") has received approval from the National Administration of Financial Regulation regarding the appointment of Ms. Chen Xin as an independent director. The approval is documented under reference 金复(2025)255号. With this approval, Ms. Chen Xin will assume the role of independent director for the tenth session of the board, succeeding Ms. Liu Xiaodan who has stepped down from the position. This announcement was made by the board of directors on April 29, 2025.
