Bank of Chengdu proposes dividend, increases registered capital

Bank of Chengdu (SSE:601838) announced a comprehensive financial strategy anchored by a proposed dividend distribution and an increase in registered capital. The bank intends to distribute a cash dividend of CNY3.776 billion, or CNY8.91 per 10 shares, subject to shareholder approval, representing 30.04% of the net profit attributable to shareholders of ordinary shares. This distribution is based on the bank's strong performance in 2024. It is important to note that this distribution will occur after the redemption of the bank's outstanding convertible bonds, resulting in an adjusted share base.
