Sichuan Energy Development's acquisition of Chuantou Energy progresses

Huatai United Securities Co., Ltd. has released its continuing supervision opinion on Sichuan Energy Development Group Co., Ltd.'s acquisition of Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co., Ltd. The report, covering the period from March 6, 2025, to March 31, 2025, details the ongoing asset transfer process following the acquisition. While the direct transfer of 2,401,149,487 shares, representing 49.26% stake, held by the original Sichuan Investment Group to Sichuan Energy Development Group, has yet to be finalized, the report states no significant obstacles exist. The transaction is a merger by newly establishing Sichuan Energy Development Group Co., Ltd, taking over shares of both energy companies. Huatai United Securities affirmed that both the acquirer and target company are fulfilling their commitments and obligations related to the acquisition, and that the companies adhere to the company governance and compliance during the period.
