Beiqi Foton Motor shareholders approve auditor change at meeting

Beiqi Foton Motor (SSE:600166) announced the results of its Fourth Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025, where shareholders approved the change of the company's accounting firm. The meeting, held on April 24, 2025, at Foton Motor's 108 conference room, saw participation from shareholders and proxies representing 4,084,718,860 shares, or 51.5916% of the company's total voting shares. All of the company's directors and supervisors were present at the meeting, which was convened and chaired by Chairman Chang Rui. Voting was conducted through a combination of on-site balloting and online submissions. The change was also voted on independently by minority shareholders, with 504,510,698 of those shares voting in favor.
