Western Mining's controlling shareholder releases share pledge

Western Mining Co., Ltd. (SSE:601168) announced that its controlling shareholder, Western Mining Group Co., Ltd., has completed the release of 82,272,404 shares previously pledged for exchangeable corporate bonds. These shares account for 3.452% of Western Mining's total share capital. The release was completed on April 23, 2025. The bonds, issued in April 2022, have been redeemed with interest. Following the release, Western Mining Group and its concerted parties collectively hold 737,120,048 shares, representing 30.93% of Western Mining's total share capital. None of the shares held by Western Mining Group are currently pledged.
