Dongfang Electric's shareholder structure shifts post A-share issuance

Dongfang Electric Corp (SSE:600875) announced a shift in its shareholder structure following the issuance of A-shares to specific investors, according to a filing released April 17, 2025. While the issuance led to a dilution of China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd.'s stake by over 1%, the company's controlling shareholder status and actual control remain unaffected. China Dongfang Electric Group participated in the share offering, acquiring 33,090,668 shares. The company's total share capital increased to 3,390,360,326 shares. As of April 17, China Dongfang Electric Group holds 1,772,966,194 shares, representing 52.29% of total shares.
