Spring Airlines reports solid traffic growth in March 2025

Spring Airlines (SSE:601021) announced its March 2025 operating data, highlighting a 1.83% year-over-year increase in available ton-kilometers to 44,156.87. Passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) saw a 1.77% increase to 412,898.21, while cargo and mail traffic climbed 9.74% to 1,420.84 ton-kilometers. The airline expanded its fleet with two new A320neo aircraft, bringing the total A320 family fleet to 131. International routes played a significant role in growth, with international available ton-kilometers increasing by 42.04% and passenger kilometers increasing by 39.20%. New routes launched in March include Chengdu Tianfu to Jieyang, Lanzhou to Guiyang, Lanzhou to Shiyan-Ningbo, Dalian to Yancheng-Fuzhou and Jieyang to Haikou. Overall, the airline's load factor stood at 86.24%, a slight increase year-over-year.
