Shanxi Coking Q1 revenue drops amid production declines

Shanxi Coking Co., Ltd. (SSE:600740) announced its primary operating data for the first quarter of 2025, revealing a decrease in production and sales across key product lines. Coke production fell by 11.74% to 731,962.69 tonnes, with sales dropping by 10.38%. Revenue from coke sales totaled CNY1,055,586,825.97, a significant decrease of 24.45% compared to the fourth quarter of 2024. Methanol production also declined by 19.55%, with sales decreasing by 18.15% to 67,204.74 tonnes. Consequently, methanol sales revenue amounted to CNY134,330,896.23, a 14.45% reduction. The company also reported decreases in pure benzene production (-4.04%) and sales (-3.06%), along with lower industrial naphthalene sales. Washed refined coal purchases fell by 15.37%, impacting the company's overall financial performance.
