Hainan Airlines reports solid growth in March 2025 operations

Hainan Airlines Holding (SSE:600221) today announced its key operating data for March 2025, showcasing overall growth. Revenue passenger kilometers (RPK) increased by 11.51% year-on-year, driven by an 87.89% surge in international RPK. International passenger numbers rose by 74.13%, resulting in a 3.54 percentage point increase in international load factor. Cargo operations also experienced substantial growth, with cargo and mail volume increasing by 19.06%. The company's overall load factor reached 87.12%, a 4.49 percentage point increase. In March, the airline added the Beijing = Oslo route (three weekly flights) on March 22, 2025 and the Chongqing = Osaka route (four weekly flights) from March 30, 2025. Hainan Airlines operated 351 aircraft as of March 2025.
