China Eastern Airlines reports increased March 2025 traffic

China Eastern Airlines Corp (SSE:600115) reported a 6.68% year-over-year increase in passenger capacity (ASK) for March 2025, reaching 24,858.72 million, while passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 10.51% to 20,921.39 million. The passenger load factor climbed to 84.16%, a 2.92 percentage point increase. Cargo and mail traffic (RFTK) also saw a rise of 11.10% to 326.57 million. International routes saw significant growth, with passenger capacity rising 28.40% to 8,187.67 million ASK. The airline expanded its network with new domestic and international routes, and the fleet size reached 816 aircraft with the addition of four A321NEO aircraft in March.
