Aiko Solar's subsidiary signs ABC Tech consulting deal

Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy's (SSE:600732) controlling subsidiary, Zhejiang Aiko Solar Energy Technology, will provide technical consulting services for a new joint venture established with the municipal government of Baise City and Shenzhen Skyworth Photovoltaic Technology. The consulting services, totaling CNY 200 million (excluding VAT and certain expenses), will support the joint venture's project to build a Skyworth-Aiko (Baise) ABC photovoltaic battery southwest base. Zhejiang Aiko will assist in establishing the ABC battery and module production capacity, and the technology consulting service agreement is expected to contribute to the company's earnings and strengthen its market position in ABC technology. The joint venture is expected to produce its first module within 6.5 months of establishment and achieve trial production within 13 months.
