Bank of Nanjing: Key shareholders increase stake in firm

Bank of Nanjing (SSE:601009) announced that Nanjing Zijin Investment Group Co., Ltd., through its subsidiary Zijin Trust, increased its holdings by 77,130,523 shares, representing 0.70% of the bank's total share capital, between October 8, 2024, and April 10, 2025. Eastern Airport Group Investment Co., Ltd. also increased its stake, acquiring 172,722,924 shares, accounting for 1.56% of the total share capital, during the period from October 10, 2024, to April 10, 2025. Both transactions were conducted via the Shanghai Stock Exchange trading system using their own funds and do not trigger a takeover offer. Following the transactions, Nanjing Zijin Investment Group and its subsidiary collectively hold 13.73% of Bank of Nanjing, while Eastern Airport Group Investment Co., Ltd. holds 2.60%. Both shareholders have pledged not to reduce their holdings within the legally prescribed period.
