Wanhua Chemical shareholder Zhongkai Xin increases share pledge

Wanhua Chemical Group (SSE:600309) announced that shareholder Ningbo Zhongkai Xin Venture Capital Co., Ltd. ("Zhongkai Xin") has further pledged some of its company shares. The supplementary pledge involves 13,600,000 shares. Following the completion of this transaction, Zhongkai Xin's cumulative pledged shares amount to 83,000,000 shares, representing 27.50% of its total holdings in Wanhua Chemical. Of this pledge, CNY 3,400,000 shares and CNY 10,200,000 shares are pledged until September 18, 2026, and November 20, 2026, respectively. The pledge is to China Galaxy Securities for supplementary collateral purposes. Zhongkai Xin currently holds 301,808,357 Wanhua Chemical shares, accounting for 9.61% of the total share capital. Combined with related party Yantai Zhongcheng Investment Co., Ltd, pledged shares total 134,000,000.
