Huayou Cobalt's controlling shareholder increases stake

Huayou Cobalt (SSE:603799) announced that its controlling shareholder, Huayou Holdings, has further increased its stake in the company. Since the start of the new increase plan on February 14, 2025, Huayou Holdings has acquired an additional 105,000 shares through the Shanghai Stock Exchange, representing 0.01% of the company's current total share capital, for a total consideration of CNY 349,650. The aggregate holdings by Huayou Holdings now stands at 301,343,251 shares, accounting for 17.71% of Huayou Cobalt's total share capital. Combined with shares held by consistent actor, Chen Xuehua, total holdings reach 383,848,197 shares, or 22.56% of total share capital. This increase is part of a previously announced plan by Huayou Holdings to acquire between CNY 300 million and CNY 600 million worth of the company's shares over a one-year period, demonstrating a commitment to Huayou Cobalt's long-term value.
