Dongfang Electric proposes increased 2024 cash dividend

Dongfang Electric Corporation (SSE:600875) announced that its controlling shareholder, Dongfang Electric Group, has proposed a cash dividend distribution for the 2024 fiscal year. The proposed dividend payout ratio is 46.73% of the net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company. Based on the current total share capital, this equates to approximately CNY 4.38 per 10 shares, totaling a cash dividend of around CNY 1.365 billion. This represents a 5.02 percentage point increase compared to the 2023 dividend ratio. The final amount is subject to audit. The proposal is subject to approval by the company's board of directors, supervisory board, and shareholders' meeting.
