Chinalco Group increases stake in Aluminum Corp of China

Aluminum Corporation of China (SSE:601600) announced that its controlling shareholder, Chinalco Group, and its concerted parties have completed their initial increase of the company's shareholdings. On April 9, 2025, Chinalco Group acquired 15,279,815 A shares for approximately CNY 0.95 billion and 9,624,000 H shares for approximately HKD 0.37 billion (CNY 0.35 billion). This brings the total share increase to 0.15% of the company's issued share capital, with a total investment of approximately CNY 1.30 billion. Following the transactions, Chinalco Group's direct and indirect shareholding in Aluminum Corp of China increased from 32.43% to 32.57%. Chinalco Group intends to continue increasing its holdings in Aluminum Corp of China.
