Guangzhou Port's throughput rises in March and Q1 2025

Guangzhou Port Company (SSE:601228) announced its preliminary production data for March and the first three months of 2025. The company expects to have handled 2.261 million TEUs of containers in March, a 5.7% year-over-year increase, and 49.363 million tons of cargo, a 0.2% increase. For the period from January to March, the projected container throughput is 6.24 million TEUs, marking a 7.5% year-over-year increase. Cargo throughput is estimated at 13.535 million tons, reflecting a 2.4% year-over-year increase. The company noted that the data is preliminary and subject to change.
