Cosco Shipping appoints Yu Tao as deputy general manager

COSCO SHIPPING Development (SSE:601866) announced the appointment of Yu Tao as Deputy General Manager, effective April 7, 2025. The decision was unanimously approved by the company's board of directors during its second meeting on the same day. Yu's nomination was endorsed by the Nomination Committee. Yu Tao, age 51, has a work history with China Ocean Shipping Logistics Co., Ltd., COSCO Container Transportation Co., Ltd, COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd., Orient Overseas Container Line and COSCO SHIPPING Ports. Yu Tao does not hold shares in COSCO SHIPPING Development, is a senior economist and holds a master's degree from Peking University.
