Wanhua Chemical's Yantai ethylene phase II project successful

Wanhua Chemical Group (SSE:600309) announced today the successful completion and commencement of production at its Yantai Industrial Park Ethylene Phase II project on April 3, 2025. The 1.2 million tonne/year ethylene unit has successfully produced qualified ethylene products, marking a successful initial operation for the Ethylene Phase II project. The project utilizes naphtha and ethane as raw materials, aiming to optimize resource allocation and establish new quality productivity, thereby enhancing the company's industrial chain competitiveness and profitability.
