Guotai Junan renamed Cathay Haitong Securities, capital changes finalized

Guotai Junan Securities (SSE:601211) has announced the completion of its name change to Cathay Haitong Securities Co., Ltd., effective April 3, 2025. The change follows shareholder approval at the company's first extraordinary general meeting in 2025. In addition to the name change, the company has completed the registration of an increase in its registered capital to CNY 1,762,970.8696 million and amendments to its articles of association. The updated articles are available on the Shanghai Stock Exchange website. The company is also in the process of applying to the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges to change its A-share and H-share stock abbreviations accordingly.
