Cosco Shipping continues A-share repurchase program

COSCO SHIPPING Development Co., Ltd. (SSE:601866) announced progress in its A-share repurchase program. As of March 31, 2025, the company has cumulatively repurchased 6,622,000 shares, representing 0.49% of its total share capital. The share purchases were made at prices ranging from CNY 2.29 to CNY 2.80 per share, with a total expenditure of CNY 16,870,310,000 (excluding transaction costs). The repurchase program, initially approved in October 2024, aims to reduce registered capital by cancelling the repurchased shares. The company plans to continue the repurchase program based on market conditions, in compliance with relevant regulations.
