Sanan Optoelectronics: Shareholder activity impacts pledge ratio

Sanan Optoelectronics (SSE:600703) announced that its controlling shareholder, Xiamen Sanan Electronics Co., Ltd., executed both share pledge and release transactions. Following these changes, Sanan Electronics' cumulative pledged shares stand at 602.6 million, representing 49.64% of its holdings in Sanan Optoelectronics. Combined with pledges from Sanan Group, the total pledged shares amount to 730.8 million, or approximately 49.70% of their combined holdings. Specifically, Sanan Electronics pledged 14.5 million shares on March 28, 2025, with a maturity date of March 24, 2026, to Ping An Bank for working capital purposes and released 17.5 million previously pledged shares on March 31, 2025. As of the announcement, Sanan Electronics holds 1,213,823,341 shares, accounting for 24.33% of Sanan Optoelectronics' total share capital. The company noted that future pledge plans will depend on actual needs.
