WuXi AppTec announces retirement of vice chairman Hu ZhengGuo

WuXi AppTec (SSE:603259) announced that Vice Chairman Hu ZhengGuo will retire on July 31, 2025. Hu ZhengGuo will step down from his roles as a director (including membership of the Strategic Committee of the Board), Vice Chairman, Global Chief Investment Officer, and Head of the High-End Therapy Business Unit. The company stated that Hu ZhengGuo's retirement will not reduce the board below the legal minimum number of members and will not significantly impact the operation of the board and the company. Hu ZhengGuo will continue to serve as a consultant to the company. The board expressed its gratitude to Hu ZhengGuo for his contributions since he joined WuXi AppTec in 2007.
