China Life proposes $18.7bn dividend for fiscal 2024

China Life Insurance Company has announced a proposed cash dividend of RMB 18.372 billion (approximately $18.7 billion USD) for the fiscal year 2024, equivalent to RMB 0.65 per share (inclusive of tax). This includes an interim dividend of RMB 5.653 billion already distributed and a proposed final dividend of RMB 12.719 billion, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting. This distribution represents roughly 17% of the net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent company.
