AgBank proposes $61bn dividend, pending shareholder approval

** Agricultural Bank of China (AgBank) has announced its proposed profit distribution plan for the 2024 fiscal year, subject to shareholder approval. The bank plans to distribute a cash dividend of RMB 0.1255 per ordinary share (inclusive of tax), amounting to approximately RMB 43.923 billion ($61.01 million) based on the 349.983 billion outstanding ordinary shares.
