Huaneng Power profit surges despite revenue dip, expands green energy

** Huaneng Power International (SSE:600011) announced a significant increase in net profit for 2024, despite a slight dip in operating revenue. According to the company's 2024 annual report, operating revenue reached RMB 245.55 billion, down 3.48% year-over-year. However, net profit attributable to shareholders increased by 20.01% to RMB 10.14 billion, boosted by lower fuel expenses and a strategic expansion into green energy.
