Shaanxi Coal 2024 profit declines, revenue up slightly

Shaanxi Coal Industry Co., Ltd. (SSE:601225) reported a 1.47% year-on-year increase in total revenue, reaching ¥184.145 billion for 2024. However, net profit attributable to shareholders decreased by 3.97% to ¥22.196 billion. Total profit also saw a dip of 2.57%, amounting to ¥43.844 billion. The company attributed the profit decline to lower coal prices. Earnings per share decreased by 9.59%. The company's coal production reached 170 million tons, up 4.13%, while coal sales volume increased by 9.91% to 260 million tons. Electricity generation and sales saw minor decreases of 0.37% respectively. Total assets decreased by 3.15% to ¥228.637 billion.
