Minsheng Bank: Zhang Hongwei resigns as director

China Minsheng Banking Corporation (CMBC) announced the resignation of Zhang Hongwei from his position as Vice Chairman of the Board, Director, and membership in key committees, including the Strategic Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee, and the Nomination Committee. The resignation, attributed to personal health reasons, is effective from March 15, 2025. CMBC confirmed that there were no disagreements between Zhang Hongwei and the board, supervisory board, or senior management. The company also stated there were no matters related to the resignation that require notification to shareholders and creditors. The Board of Directors expressed its gratitude for Zhang Hongwei's service.
