Yili Group continues share repurchase program

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (SSE: 600887) announced the progress of its share repurchase program today. The company has repurchased 32,505,361 shares, representing 0.5106% of the total share capital, at a price range of ¥21.57 to ¥27.79 per share. The total expenditure for the repurchase amounted to ¥767,581,173.84, excluding transaction costs. This repurchase is part of a plan approved by shareholders, with funds ranging from ¥1 billion to ¥2 billion allocated for the repurchase of company shares through centralized bidding. The company intends to use the repurchased shares for cancellation to reduce registered capital.
