Anyang Iron & Steel parent unwinds block of share pledge

Anyang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (SSE:600569) announced that its controlling shareholder, Anyang Iron & Steel Group, has released 300 million shares from pledge. This represents 15.52% of the Group's total holding in the listed company and 10.44% of Anyang Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.’s total share capital. Following the release, the Group's total pledged shares stand at 250 million, constituting 12.94% of its holding and 8.70% of the listed company’s total share capital. The share pledge release was completed on March 7, 2025. Anyang Iron & Steel Group holds 1,932,443,903 shares, or 67.28% of total shares. The company says the Group will fulfill its notification duties regarding any potential changes.
